Projects

My research integrates perspectives from geography, demography, GIScience, and public health to examine spatial dimensions of migration, health disparities, and scale. I apply spatial and computational methods to analyze complex patterns of mobility, neighborhood context, and population health. Below are some of the projects and open-source packages I have developed or contributed to:

Origin-Destination Dyads
Project 1

This project updates traditional regional categorizations of Mexican migrant origin states. By using contemporary migration data from Mexico to the U.S., we developed an updated origin categorization at the state level and linked it to a U.S. state destination to create a dyad migration flow.
